Meet Dana Publicover

A marketing and UX expert with more than 20 years of experience, Dana has worked with Google, McKinsey, NASA and more than 150 startups on customer-facing communications.

Beginning with a career in advertising in NYC, she wrote award-winning copy and campaigns for brands including the Met, Anthropologie, Pepsi, and Toyota. After running focus groups, she made the transition from market research to user research, and later established UX research operations at SaaS scale-ups. For the last decade, she has blended the experience with user and product strategy into strategic marketing for growth that outperforms expectations.

Originally from North Carolina, USA, Dana moved to Germany in 2020. She is a Seedcamp and Techstars mentor, and contributes significant volunteer hours to bootstrapped and pre-seed companies through organizations that include Hatch Enterprises, Inspiration Space, and Female Founders Forum. She is the author of Empathy at Scale, Conversations with Customers, and the ghostwriter of more than a dozen nonfiction titles.
